If Easter Be Not True

If Easter be not true,

Then all the lilies must lie,

The Flanders poppies fade and die,

The spring must lose her fairest bloom,

For Christ were still in the tomb—

If  Easter be not true.

如果復活節不是真的，

那就像百合花說了謊，

罌粟花褪色死亡，

春天喪失她的美麗花卉，

基督仍關在墳墓裡—

如果復活節不是真的。

If Easter be not true,

Then faith must mount on broken wings,

Then hope no more immortal spring,

Then hope must lose her mighty urge,

Life prove a phantom, death a dirge—

If Easter be not true.

如果復活節不是真的，

那麼，信心不再有雙翼可以飛翔，

那麼，希望不再是不朽的春天生機，

那麼，盼望喪失了她的魅力，

生命只是一場幻影，死亡就是一曲悲歌—

如果復活節不是真的。

If Easter be not true—

But it is true, and Christ is risen,

And mortal spirit from its prison,

Of sin and death with him may rise!

Worthy the struggle sure the prize,

Since Eater, aye ,is true!

如果復活節不是真的—

但，基督真的復活了，

被罪惡和死亡囚禁的靈魂哪，

和祂一起復活！

以地上的勞苦換取天上的免旒，
